 Compact Cart Mounted System capable of Manoeuvring inside Buildings
The CoverCat 302 has been designed specifically for use where access through a building is required, eg. roofs, swimming pools etc. It has been designed to be as small and compact as possible, whilst still being of use on a typical site, where rough is common.
The system incorporates a high pressure heater, as some products require one component to be heated in certain conditions. The mixer block is mounted on the machine, for use with long pot life materials, but it can be used remotely for faster cure products.
We ensure long life by using nitride hardened and hard chromed wear parts, with all teflon packings for maximum chemical resistance.
Material can be fed from either 25 litre pails or 200 litre drums as required. The feed pumps are mounted on sliding arms, and extend from the rear of the machine for use with 25 litre pails. For use with 200 litre drums, the feed pumps can be lifted from the machine, and placed in the 2” bung mounting of the drum.
Material is metered with the CoverCat 300 Metering Pump, to a fixed ratio of your choice. Typical ratios would be 1:1, 2.3:1, 3:1 etc.
An optional High Pressure Heater is fitted to the machine to heat one of the components if required. The Metered Material can then be recirculated back to the drums, or pumped through the high pressure filters to the mix manifold, which is mounted on the machine.
The machine is mounted on a four wheel cart, with steering and a pull bar. This makes it easy to move around a site without the need for a forklift or cranage.
High Pressure Gauges and Over Pressure Relief valves are fitted for each component. The system can easily be adapted for use with fireproofing materials by the addition of small pressure feed tanks.
